The international human rights organization Equal Rights International (ERI) has demanded the removal of the fugitive Sheikh Hasina's niece Tulip Siddique from the British Parliament.

This demand was announced in a human chain organized at the British Parliament Square on Tuesday afternoon. It was attended by human rights activists and professionals living in London.

Hasan Javed, ERI's advisor and prominent journalist, said that fascist Hasina and her sister Rehana embezzled about Tk 57,000 crore for the construction of Rooppur nuclear power plant in 2013. That money came to England in the name of gift of flat to Tulip Siddique. He has already been forced to resign from the ministry. We demand his removal from the post of MP.

ERI President Mahbub Ali Khanshoor said that Sheikh family tradition is corruption. He demanded to protect the reputation of the British by expelling this corrupt member Tulip from the British Parliament. Otherwise, he demanded the resignation of the British Prime Minister.

ERI's Minority Secretary Tahmina Akhter said that Hasina's niece, who fled the country due to corruption in Bangladesh, lost her ministry in Britain due to corruption. We ERI demand his expulsion from the Parliament.
